Creamy Baobab & Oat Porridge

Make your baobab & oat porridge in just a few minutes.

A nutritious & delicious breakfast is the best kickstart for a good morning. Since baobab adds that little bit of tanginess into anything you cook it works wonders in your morning porridge making it taste just a little tart yet creamy. Oat is one of the most vitamin & mineral rich crops so we wanted to pair our baobab powder with that – and created a super simple, super fast baobab – oat porridge. This recipe makes enough for 2 hungry people.


  • 4 Tbs Baobab powder
  • 70g rolled oats
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 litre of water

garnishes of your choice: fresh berries or fruit, honey – your imagination is the limit!


Bring the water to boil in a small / medium sized pot and add a pinch of salt and rolled oats. Reduce the heat so the mixture cooks slowly. Let it boil for a few minutes, then add the baobab powder and mix well. Let the porridge boil another minute or two, remove the pot from the stove and let it sit in the pot with a lid on for another 5 minutes.

Serve with your chosen garnishes and enjoy!
